Iconic Days videos

Iconic Days was a three days symposium held in the framework of PIPES, dedicated to iconic communication in theory and practice. It that took place between the 11th and the 13th of March in Prague Centre for Contemporary Art DOX.

Michael Bielický from ZKM (Germany) made a historical approach to symbols as a way to simplify the communication, and presented some contemporary projects related to this.

Clara Piazuelo and Laia Blasco made a presentation on the project’s issue in Hangar (Barcelona), talking about interface and the basis of contemporary design. Depparting from that they created some game dynamics to reflect on the power of symbols and design.

Štěpán Kleník, member of Brainz (Prague, Czech Republic) explaned the story of PIPES logo.
